Dr. Dooley is currently a professor of economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). In 2001, he joined a team at Deutsche Bank working to restructure Argentina’s debt. Dr. Dooley joined the faculty at UCSC in 1992 following more than 20 years of service at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund.
Dr. Dooley’s research covers a range of issues in open economy macroeconomics, including crises in emerging markets, debt management, capital controls, capital flight and liberalization of financial markets.

Schaeffer spent over a decade of his career as a top specialist on the New York Stock Exchange after attending the University of Rhode Island on an academic scholarship. Schaeffer reached head specialist, managing trading activities in the top equities in the U.S. market, including Disney, Hewlett Packard, and Pfizer. After ten successful years, he was named Chief Executive Officer of Van Der Moolen Capital Markets, one of the largest listed global trading and technology companies. Schaeffer also served under John Thain as a public relations representative at the NYSE. During his tenure, he supervised the visits of many of the most prestigious guests to visit the NYSE: President George W.
