The CAFC is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) to integrate CATA’s unique Executive Boardroom sessions during this year’s Conference.
The Executive Boardroom sessions provide Fire Chiefs and vendors an opportunity to engage with one another to shape the direction of industry R&D and address current issues through cooperative action. Seeking 30 Chiefs to act as the Boardroom “Dragons” who will attend six 25-minute sessions wherein you will be provided with a unique opportunity to interact with leading suppliers of Fire Response products and services and view a presentation of their offering or concept and engage in open, candid feedback on its application and use.
“I participated as one of the Fire Chief Executives in CATA’s Executive Boardroom sessions last year and found it to be an extremely interesting and valuable use of my time. Not only was I exposed to the newest products and services available to me, but I was also able to provide direct feedback to the companies regarding its potential application and use in the field. As a result, I learned a great deal about the latest and greatest product developments, and also felt that my feedback was invaluable the these firms as they further develop their offerings to our members.” ~Paul Boissonneault, Fire Chief & CEMC, County of Brant.
We are actively seeking approximately 30 Fire Chiefs to act as 'Dragons' for six of these sessions and encourage to contact Vicky Roper, CAFC Director of Events and Operations at vroper@cafc.ca for more information on assuming this critical role.
