WHY ATTEND?

FIRE-RESCUE CANADA is one of CAFC's most important events of the year.  This annual four-day event attracts leading authorities and vendors from all sectors of the Fire & Emergency Services community.  Fire-Rescue Canada focuses on education through numerous guest speakers, seminars and a three-day Vendors Gallery and attracts delegates from across Canada and the United States.

This year's theme: Taking Care of Business, will include topics such as inclusion, respectful workplace, mental health both in the community and fire service, fire literacy, social media and many more that will give fire service leaders the tools and resources to make change.

Panel Sessions

Fire-Rescue Canada’s daily Panel sessions bring together the perspectives of panelists into a cohesive conversation of innovative ideas, current topics, and issues in the Canadian fire service. These sessions are intended to engage audience members in participating in discussions surrounding the multiple perspectives presented and their potential impact on current and future professional practice.          

CATA's "Dragon's Den"

The CAFC is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) to integrate CATA’s unique Executive Boardroom sessions during this year’s Conference. We are actively seeking approximately 30 Fire Chiefs to act as the ‘Dragons’ for six of these sessions.

Global Fire Service Alliance

The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs is looking forward to hosting the Global Fire Service Alliance pre-conference meetings, September 10-12, 2014.

The Global Fire Service Alliance is a forum of invited fire chief organizations from around the world to join together for a two day summit to discuss global issues facing emergency responders and their communities.
