Evolution: Reigniting the Global Economy
London | Paris | Singapore | Tokyo | Palo Alto | Luxembourg | Rome
Financial Times Live and Hogan Lovells are delighted to present the 2013 “Evolution: Reigniting the Global Economy” series, to assess the corporate strategies which business leaders are relying on to build sustainable growth in an increasingly complex, and yet potentially less stagnant, global economy.
Since the 2012 FT-Hogan Lovells “Evolution: Profiting from Uncertainty” report, and despite persistent stresses in the eurozone, there appears to have been an uptake in cautious optimism amongst international business strategists, thanks in-part to encouraging signs emerging from the US, and significant prosperity in Asian markets.
This year’s research report and event series will examine whether a less turbulent macroeconomic climate will lead to revised strategy for core challenges such as regulatory change, new marketplace competition, shareholder pressure, and political intervention. Have corporate priorities altered much, if at all, since this time last year? What exactly will it take to spark deal-making activity and renewed appetite for risk?
WHY ATTEND?
The 2013 series will once again provide a high-level platform for board-level executives to discuss their assessment of today’s business priorities and challenges, at a time when the global business environment appears at last to be in better health.
