EMAIL COMMUNICATION: A CRASH COURSE

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Looking to reach your congregation and connect with guests in a meaningful way?

All you need is an effective church email program.

Discover why an effective email marketing program is about more than sharing important information and keeping in touch.

In these two, 75-minute sessions, Christen will review:

  • the importance of email marketing software
  • the challenges of church email marketing and how to overcome them
  • how to increase your open rates and secure your subscribers' attention
  • the importance of targeted marketing and the creation of a welcome series for new church members
  • and so much more!

Other Details:

The workshops will use Zoom technology to meet online. Each registered participant will receive the meeting link prior to the first workshop. The sessions will meet on two consecutive Tuesdays, September 13 and September 20, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Participants will need an electronic device equipped with a reliable Internet connection, built-in or external microphone, and a built-in or external webcam.

The instructor will make available the recording of each class, along with the slide deck, to all registered participants. Office hourse will also be available to schedule each week at no additional cost.

Once the event reaches capacity, a waiting list will be started.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FEES:

Early Individual Registration (ends August 30): $75

Standard Individual Registration (begins August 31): $85

*GROUP REGISTRATION FEES (for one church/organization, with 2-3 participants):

Early Group Registration (ends August 30): $110

Standard Group Registration (begins August 31): $135

 

*A group consists of individuals representing the same church/organization. For a group registration, one person will register for the entire group, so that person will need to be prepared to fill in attendee information of name, address, email, etc., for each additional attendee of the group when registering.

Update: This workshop is almost sold out. Because of that, the system may not allow you to register any or all of the additional members of your group. If this happens, please go ahead and complete your group registration with as many names as it will allow, and then send an email to twortman@upsem.edu with any additional names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, and job titles of those you would like to add to your group. There can be up to three individuals in a group registration.
