What is Austin Women Owned Wednesday?

This virtual event features small group networking and a keynote presentation
focused on a business topic relevant to the Austin community. For the first
30 minutes of the event, attendees are broken out into small groups to
foster connections.
There are 10 luncheons in 2022, held January
through October, typically on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Lisa Mink
Co-founder
Nova Leadership

 Lisa Mink is co-founder of Nova Leadership and principal of Mink Enterprise Group.  She is an accomplished consultant, coach, and business practitioner who works with senior leaders to help bring about sustainable change and improved personal performance.

Lisa has extensive experience with C-Suite executives and their successors, focusing on talent management and leadership development, change management, communications, strategy development, and execution.


Through the work of Nova Leadership and Mink Enterprise Group, Lisa guides executives to gain clarity on who they are, build confidence in what they know, and change the conversation about how they are perceived.  She has held multiple global executive roles including serving as the Chief Diversity Officer at Dell EMC. 

Her innovative approach always focuses on practical solutions and teamwork, and her distinct style is characterized by a combination of warmth, insight, and directness.  Lisa’s clients count on her to keep pace, connect with, and challenge them while supporting them to achieve better results. 

Lisa is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified Executive Coach and guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School.  She is a regular contributor to publications on leadership and culture and a speaker addressing forums such as the United Nations in the Middle East, Asia Society in New York, and Catalyst in India. 

Lisa holds a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis on Public Relations.  Prior to her corporate career, she worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. in legislative and public affairs.  She lives in Austin and Fort Collins, CO with her husband and Rhodesian Ridgeback, Murphy.

Kathleen Woodhouse

 Kathleen Woodhouse is co-founder of Nova Leadership and Managing Director at Woodhouse Partners, a consulting practice focused on increasing leadership and organizational capability to drive business results. A former Fortune 50 executive, Kathleen understands the challenges of managing in a complex, demanding and dynamic environment and was an executive leader in multi-billion-dollar business units.

A Forbes Certified Coach and guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School, Kathleen’s expertise is working with leaders and their teams to create an environment where people excel. She works with clients in the technology, healthcare, finance, legal, manufacturing, and not for profit space. Kathleen has worked closely with business leaders in the US, Canada, China, India, and Europe.

Kathleen is direct, insightful, results-oriented, and holds clients accountable for their commitments. Her work has proven to be effective at multiple levels and across functional areas. She has coached C-level clients and their successors and has a passion for developing women and high potential talent.

An executive and a working mother, Kathleen understands that being a woman leader has its challenges. Women need a professional network to rely on, and it is this community of women leaders that Kathleen and Nova Co-founder Lisa Mink build through Nova Leadership Immersion Retreats.


Prior to launching Nova and Woodhouse Partners, Kathleen was Corporate Vice President of Human Resources at Advanced Micro Devices and held executive HR leadership roles at Dell, Inc., living in both the U.S. and in Europe. She earned her B.A. and her M.A. in Human Resources and Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin.
