NASA Educator Professional Development is presenting a free 60-minute webinar for K-12 educators. Participants will learn about how Technology drives exploration. Using the Beginning Engineering Science and Technology curriculum, participants will learn how to use the engineering design process to build and test a Drag Device. Participants will also learn about current research NASA is conducting including the recent successful landing of Perseverance and Ingenuity flights.

Discussion will include classroom modifications.
 
 
 

Sara Garcia-Torres currently serves as an EPD Specialist at NASA Ames Research Center. She works with educators, families, and community members to support STEM efforts. Her research interests include STEM education. She holds degrees from TSU (MEd), and UTSA (BA). Sara is also pursuing PhD studies at Texas State University.
