Christophe Baurand
Head of the Alternative Investments Business Line

Christophe Baurand is the Head of the Alternative Investments Business Line at Lyxor since July 2012. He is also the Global Head of Business Development, overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of Lyxor’s products worldwide. Mr. Baurand joined Lyxor in 2006 as Head of Marketing and Sales for Alternative Investments. Prior to this position, Mr. Baurand had been working within Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking division for 13 years. He worked as a salesperson on the Equity Derivatives desk focusing on the French market before being appointed Head of Equity Derivative Sales for Switzerland in 1999 and for Benelux in 2002. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as Global Head of Sales for Alternative Investment Products.

Mr. Baurand is a graduate of ESCP (1991) and holds a Masters degree in Finance from Essec Business School (1992).

Heath Davies is head of group due diligence / hedge fund research having joined the firm six years ago. Signet is an award winning hedge fund specialist investor best known for its flagship Global Fixed Income Fund and Ucits offerings, along with their customised investment solutions. Morgan Creek, a global investment management firm based in North Carolina in the US, has reached an agreement to acquire Signet’s hedge fund business, subject to FCA approval.

Before joining Signet, Heath was head of hedge fund research at London based hedge fund investment firm, Redi & Partners. He has over a decade and half's experience in various alternative asset classes, and has presented at industry events in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and on CNBC.
 
Drew Figdor

Drew Figdor joined TIG in 1986 as a Senior Arbitrage Analyst and was appointed General Partner in 1990. He became the manager of the fund in 1993. Prior to his graduate work, Mr. Figdor worked for Gulf & Western in the strategic planning department (1984-1985). He was a Financial Analyst for Paine Webber from 1983 to 1984. Mr. Figdor earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and earned a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Drew currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Connecticut Foundation. Drew has three sons, Jordan, Jared and Jonah and lives with his wife Michele in New York City.
 
Rob Koyfman

Rob Koyfman joined Lyxor in 2013 and works as senior strategist on the Cross Asset Research team in New York. Previously, Rob was the head of Macro and Thematic Trading Strategies at Citigroup where he ran a team that analyzed macro developments and originated trade ideas based on macro and thematic views. Rob started his career at Goldman Sachs in 2002 where he held several roles including research analyst for REITs and Portfolio Strategy and as a trader in Principal Strategies. Rob has also worked at Caxton Associates as senior equity strategist. Rob received a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
 
Colin Lancaster

Mr. Lancaster is a Senior Managing Director at Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) and is a member of the Firm's Executive Committee. He joined Balyasny in January of 2010 with Ashok Bhatia and their team to assist in the build-out a global macro business for the Firm. Prior to joining BAM, Colin was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Stark Investments. Colin was made a Partner at Stark in 2005. Prior to joining Stark in 2000, Colin served as General Counsel of Knight Financial Products and its asset management subsidiary, Deephaven Capital Management. He worked for Irv Kessler at Arbitrade/Deephaven prior to that business being sold to Knight in 2000. Colin earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School (1993), where he served as editor-in-chief of the Marquette Law Review. Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University (1990). He is married with three girls.
 
Eivind Lorgen

Eivind Lorgen is the Global Head of Alternatives & Manager Selection in Nordea Asset Management (NAM). NAM actively manages approx. € 220 billion of which € 25 billion is managed externally in single manager funds (white label), recommended funds and in managed portfolios. He is also the former COO of NAM.

Prior to joining Nordea, he was with Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) from 1991 until 2001, most recently as CEO for the Nordic Retail Division.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and he also did his MBA studies at the University of Denver, Colorado, USA. He has completed his Executive Management training at IMD and at The London Business School.
 
Craig Stevenson

Craig Stevenson works as a senior investment consultant within Towers Watson's Manager Research team. Craig is currently engaged in leading the research team for equity long/short hedge funds. Craig is involved in a number of hedge fund advisory client relationships with regard to the structuring of clients hedge fund exposure and ongoing monitoring.

Prior to joining Towers Watson Craig was a Senior Associate at bfinance, Associate Director at Standard & Poor's and a research analyst at Stamford Associates. Craig graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BComm (Hons) in Business Studies and Law, is an Associate of the Securities & Investment Institute and a holder of the Investment Management Certificate.
 
Christian Zann

Mr. Zann joined BAM 2004 to manage a long/short energy portfolio. He was made a Partner in 2007. Prior to BAM, he was an analyst and sector portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Mr. Zann managed the Fidelity Select Natural Gas, Fidelity Select Software, and Fidelity Select Consumer Industries funds at various times during his tenure from 1996 to 2004. Mr. Zann earned his BBA from the University of Michigan.
