We are pleased to announce that the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee (AFBWLC) will host the Inaugural Farm Bureau Women's ACE (Advocate, Cultivate, Empower) Summit June 6-8, 2022, in Washington, D.C. The Summit is open to ALL Farm Bureau women, and it is strongly encouraged that each state bring at least one female member between the ages of 18-35 as a part of its delegation to help promote the development of leadership and advocacy skills for young women in agriculture. Every state has the opportunity to register up to four members until May 3, 2022. After that date, states are welcome to register as many members as you would like.
Registration will close Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 4 p.m. ET.
To prepare for congressional visits, participants will receive advocacy training and a briefing on strategically selected issues. Attendees are encouraged to work with their state Farm Bureaus to schedule in-person or virtual visits with Congressional Members and/or their staff. Date and time can be found on the agenda.
State Farm Bureaus and/or individuals will be responsible for all costs associated with their member(s) and staff travel, including, but not limited to, flights, lodging, meals and transportation while in the nation’s capital. We have secured a room block with Washington Hilton, and information can be found under the Hotel Tab.
Cancellation Policy
Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 12, 2022. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations prior to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 12, 2022. No refunds for cancelled registrations will be provided after 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 12, 2022. Onsite registrations will NOT be accepted.
