PLAYOLOGY WORKSHOP: EXPERIENCING GOD THROUGH THE ART OF PLAY

Event Description
This event, Playology Workshop: Experiencing God Through the Art of Play, is full of interactive training and practical resources to integrate recreation and play into ministry context. Experienced instructors will lead this 2-day event and the recreation-related workshops. On the first day, each registered participant may select one morning and one afternoon workshop. On the second day, the workshop leaders and participants will lead worship for the seminary community after spending the morning in a creative worship planning workshop together.
All of the elements for the event are extremely practical by design, so participants may take the experience and apply what they learn to every-day life and/or to special events.
This event is a great resource for children and youth leaders, pastors, worship leaders, camp counselors, educators, recreation leaders, volunteers, and more! Whether you come alone or in a group, you will experience creative ways to build community.
REGISTRATION FEE:
Early Registration (ends February 15, 2022): $30
Standard Registration (begins February 16, 2022): $40
HOUSING:
Due to protocols in place for Covid-19, limited housing on campus is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may select housing, for an additional cost, during registration. On-campus housing includes single and double occupancy rooms, with each room having a private bath. The current cost per night for a single occupancy is $50. The cost per night for a double occupancy (shared room) is $37.50 per night, per person. If you are interested in on-campus lodging, during the registration process there will be a "Hotel Reservation" page/tab. For more details on housing, please click the "More Info" link next to "On-Campus Loding" during your registration process.
