Program

Please join LLS for a free virtual education program for patients and their families.  Participants will learn about the proper health and nutrition strategies after a cancer diagnosis and its impact on survivorship.

Nutrition can help boost your immune system, give your body strength, and may help prevent treatment delays. Side effects from treatment, such as nausea, taste changes, and poor appetite can do the opposite, often leading to unintentional weight loss or malnutrition. Join oncology dietitian Kaitlin Cilufo, MS, RD, CSO, LD from The University of Kansas Cancer Center to discover ways to combat common nutrition-related side effects to keep your body strong during cancer treatment.

Participants will also  learn about the resources available in their community and those provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
