When should I arrive?
The conference officially starts with lunch served in the Exhibition Hall at 12:30.
10:00 - Exclusive session for the Accredited Financial Planning Firms
11:30 - Registration desk opens
12:00 - AGM - members only
12:30 - Lunch served in the Exhibition Hall
14:00 - Sessions start
What discounts are available?
The rates showing on the 'rates and bookings' page are not discounted unless stated. The rate you pay on checkout is therefore the discounted rate. The discounts available are as follows:Individuals:
- Book by 31 May - save 10%
- Book in June - save 5%
- Book in July - save 2.5%.
Groups: Discounts are available for groups of 3+ and 6+ from the same company, see opposite for details.
Can guests and partners attend?
Spouses/guests may share a full paying delegate’s accommodation at the conference for an additional charge. To add a spouse you must select one of the shared occupancy options. You will be invited to add a guest. Spaces at the evenings may be avaiable nearer the conference. To find out more please email events@financialplanning.org.uk.
What's the dress code?
The dress code is smart casual for the duration of the conference except for the Gala Dinner (Tuesday night) when the dress code is black tie.

Is WiFi available?
Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
Do I need to pre-book the sessions I want to attend?
For the first time, we will be asking you to pre-register for sessions. If details of all the sessions aren't available at the time of booking, we'll remind you to revisit your booking record and make your selections as soon as the full programme is available. You'll be able to change your mind up to a few days before the conference so don't worry about changing your mind.
Can I book accommodation directly with the hotel?
Accommodation for the nights of 30 September and 1 October can only be booked through the IFP.
Can I extend my stay to include the Sunday night?
Yes you can extend your stay. You have the option to add Sunday night accommodation at the time of booking, just change the check in date and the additional amount will be added to your booking. Please note that this accommodation is non-refundable after 5 June.Will there be a professional photographer?
Please note that for promotional purposes, there will be a professional photographer present throughout the event, at the conference, the exhibition and at the social events. The IFP reserves the right to use any these photographs in future marketing literature. Should you have any queries please email events@financialplanning.org.uk.
