Workshop Information

Are you boring?

Probably not. But your church’s communications may be.

Churches often default to making announcements and sharing information, but that bores people. Instead, why not inspire them to action and to build community by telling great stories?

Storytelling may be a recent marketing buzzword, but it is also a beloved tradition. Stories are both ancient and relevant today as only they can cut through the busyness and the noise.

This 3-part Zoom series is designed to teach congregational leaders of all kinds how to craft and tell their church’s story across their communications. This course includes the three, 90-minute lessons as well as office hours with the instructor for specific questions and concerns. The course is limited to 20 participating churches to maximize individual attention.

The workshops will use Zoom technology to meet online. Each registered participant will receive the class meeting link prior to the first workshop. The sessions will meet on three consecutive Tuesdays, April 13, April 20 and April 27, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. EST. Participants will need an electronic device equipped with a reliable internet connection, built-in or external microphone, and a built-in or external webcam.

Once the event reaches capacity, a waiting list will be started.
