Workshop Information

This 4-part course is designed for anyone who communicates—or wants to communicate—on behalf of a church via social media. It will demystify social media platforms and teach you how to use them most effectively in connecting with your congregation. In addition to the four, 75-minute sessions, workshop participants will receive the recordings and slides from each class in case they are unable to attend. Each week, office hours are offered for one-on-one conversation. At the end of the four weeks, participants will also receive a take-home tool sheet so they are fully equipped to move forward with confidence! 

The workshops will use Zoom technology to meet online. Each registered participant will receive the class meeting link prior to the first workshop. The sessions will meet on four consecutive Thursdays, April 15, April 22, April 29 and May 6, from 10:00 until 11:15 a.m. EST. Participants will need an electronic device equipped with a reliable internet connection, built-in or external microphone, and a built-in or external webcam.

Once the event reaches capacity, a waiting list will be started.

Standard Individual Registration (begins March 1): $125

*GROUP REGISTRATION FEES (for one church/organization, with 2-3 participants):

Early Group Registration (ends February 28): $150

Standard Group Registration (begins March 1): $175

 

*A group consists of individuals representing the same church/organization. For a group registration, one person will register for the entire group, so that person will need to be prepared to fill in attendee information of name, address, email, etc., for each additional attendee of the group when registering.
