Travel to Mexico

Transportation

The KBC Events Team is happy to arrange transportation for you and your guest upon arrival and departure in Mexico between the airport and the Paradisus Los Cabos.

If you would like a private transfer for you and your guest, it will be $218 USD round-trip, which includes taxes and gratuity. If you select this option, you will need to enter your credit card information at the end of registration.

Otherwise, if you plan to make your own arrangements, please indicate that within registration.

Passports

All attendees must have a valid passport to travel to Los Cabos, Mexico. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your scheduled return date. Your airline ticket must match exactly with the name on your passport.

For more information on passports (applications, renewals, or adding pages), U.S. citizens may contact their local post office or visit the U.S. Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov at your leisure.

If this is the first time you are applying for a passport, you must have a certified copy of your birth certificate. It must have the official raised seal of the city, county, or state where issued or printed on security paper with a watermark.

Due to COVID-19 and limited staffing, obtaining a new passport and renewing passports is taking longer than normal; therefore, we recommend you begin this process immediately.

Many countries require sufficient space in your passport for immigration officials to validate your arrival and departure with a stamp. Having two blank pages in your passport at all times is recommended.

Note: If your passport expires within six months after your travels, you must renew your passport prior to your trip.

COVID-19 Travel Advisory

Due to the global COVID-19 disease outbreak, the CDC recommends that any person who is considered "high-risk" for contracting the virus avoid traveling to an area where the COVID-19 virus is ongoing. Please visit the CDC website or the U.S. Embassy website for the most current information regarding travel notices specific to Mexico. These pages are updated frequently based on the current status of the virus containment in Mexico.

Effective January 26, 2021

Anyone traveling to the United States from an international location, in this case Mexico, will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test before they board their flight. The test must be taken less than 72-hours prior to travel. An Antibody test is not acceptable. The KBC Events Team is working with the hotel and local health care providers to ensure all our guests will have access to a COVID-19 test prior to their departure. The test will be taken at the hotel and all fees will be covered. We will continue to keep you informed on our plans.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your travel to Mexico, please contact Anna Tromanhauser with the KBC Events Team at info@kbcpartnerretreat.com or +1 (817) 510-5885.
