The post-16 landscape continues to change and evolve creating a dynamic marketplace. Responding to this requires providers to develop new and different ways of working.

Over the past few years the sector has seen a rapid growth in 'sub-contracting', which is a combination of new providers entering the market, existing providers working closer together, and the continuation of what has existed for many years.  The Workshop is intended to offer and share practitioners’ good practice, while giving providers a greater insight into the strategic importance of supply chain management.

The new Supply Chain Management good practice guide produced by AoC and AELP with the support of LSIS will be  included in the delegate packs.  The guide is designed to help providers minimise the risk within supply chains, ensuring that they offer high-quality provision that is responsive to the needs of local communities, learners and employers .
