  • Dr. Charles Curtis MS, PT, DPT, Cert MDT is a graduate of Saint Peter's College 1984, Long Island University physical therapy program in 1987. 
  • In 2005, Dr. Curtis completed the DPT program through Boston University with a focus on effective and efficient clinical documentation and the use of functional outcomes.  
  • In 2006, Dr. Curtis became certified as a Manual Diagnostic Therapist by the McKenzie Institute 
  • In 2008, he passed the competency clinical test as a Vestibular Rehabilitation specialist. 
  • For the past 10 years, Dr. Charles Curtis has held the position of Assistant Vice President of Rehabilitation Services at Bayshore Community Health Services in Holmdel, New Jersey and has owned and operated the Balance and Movement Rehabilitation Center.  
  • Dr. Curtis has lectured for the APTA yearly meeting in New Jersey on documentation.  
  • Dr. Curtis also lectures and consults on numerous topics including Hospital Regulatory Standards, Clinical Documentation/Medical Necessity, Utilization Review Services, Fitness and Wellness Services and Therapeutic Exercise Application and topics regarding patient safety regulations and Ergonomics. 
  • Presently, Dr. Curtis is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University, as well as holding, the position as Regional Director of Crest Physical Therapy. 
  • Dr. Curtis lives with his wife and five children in Little Silver, New Jersey.
