Designed by Rees Jones, Jones Sr.’s son, and opened in 1991, this layout is carved from the same terrain but is simultaneously longer and more forgiving.

Spotswood Course |
Named for colonial Governor Alexander Spotswood, this is the elder Jones’s 1963 update of the Williamsburg Inn’s original 1947 nine-hole course.
Called the “best short nine-hole course in the country” by GOLF Magazine, the par-31 Spotswood Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and measures 1,865 yards with one par-5, two par-4 holes, and six par-3 holes, which vary from 90 to 215 yards.
