Grab your lunch and join WBCS for our second Women Owned Wednesday Virtual Lunch and Learn featuring an Austin WBE.

This month we will talk with Brooke Waupsh, CEO and Co-Founder of Swoovy, a popular dating app that connects it's users through volunteer opportunities. Brooke will share with us how she has taken her passion for volunteering and turned it into a business. She will answer all of our burning questions about being a female founder in the start-up game!

With our new Women Owned Wednesday events, each month we will feature a different Austin WBE who will talk about their business and share valuable insights from which we can learn. We hope this lunch break will be a good opportunity to network and learn. Register today!

Brooke Waupsh
CEO & Co-Founder of Swoovy

Brooke is an award-winning marketer and female-founder of a new Austin-based dating app, Swoovy that connects single people, and now couples, through volunteering. Before Swoovy, she spent her career breathing life into established brands such as Coors, Clorox, and Charles Schwab, as well as successfully introducing a new financial technology brand, Kasasa, to the market.

On The Dot Woman featured her as a “Woman to Watch” and KXAN’s Studio 512 also highlighted her for “Woman Crush Wednesday”. She is a current finalist, for the second year in a row, for the Austin Under 40 for “Start-Up and Innovation” and her industry awards include a Bronze Los Angeles Addy Award (Regional/National Television category), 5 MarCom Awards and 2 Honorable Mentions. Swoovy has been featured in the press by CBS, KXAN, KVUE, Austin American Statesman, the Culture Map, and more.
