Keynote – The Future is Here

The demands of your travelling community are changing with the proliferation and accessibility of information available on the go. Whether you want them to or not, they are using information from many sources beyond those your company may approve, either through corporate or personal devices. Hear how, if you want to stay ahead of the game, you need to get your arms around the situation to find the best solutions for your organisation.

Experts include:
Dean Forbes, Travel Technology Evangelist and CEO, KDS

1430-1530

Session 1 – Ancillary Services – Are You in Control?

As airline revenues are set to top $36b USD, the continued unbundling of airline service fees clearly increases profits. Hotels are bundling rates to include internet, breakfast, bottled water and other value-add items. This session will debate the impact of pricing models on your overall policy and budget and discuss the importance of Value Contribution. Establish whether you can ensure consistency of information and application of ancillary fees across all GDS and direct booking channels to budget effectively.

Experts include:
Annabeth Bergqvist, Director, Marketing Division, Amadeus Scandinavia AB
Jan Birkelund
, Director of Sales, Distribution & Loyalty, Scandinavia & Finland, Accor

Session 2 – What App?

What impact might behavioural economics have on your travel policy? As the travel manager moves from a policy enforcer to a productivity enabler, is it time to take steps to incorporate supportive performance enhancing tools into your travel policy? Have you ever asked your frequent travellers what Apps they use to make their lives easier? Discuss how you can collaborate internally to support your overall programme goals, whilst also ensuring safety and security of your people and sensitive company data.

Create a checklist to build Mobility/App terminology into your policy.
