Roni Briggs

Ms. Briggs is an internal and external communications expert with a specialization in executive coaching, organizational development and change management issues with over 25 years experience in a number of disciplines and industries.

She is a noted executive development specialist and thinking partner to many leaders at the Chief (C) level within their businesses. Ms. Briggs has been focused on executive coaching for the past 10 years. She believes in an approach called Appreciative Inquiry (AI). AI is positive in its intent and begins with insightful questions. Through the exploration of the answers to these questions, people and organizations begin the process of getting on track and unlocking their highest potential. She is certified in Executive Assessment by Talent+, Uncommon Leadership by Human Dynamics, Inc, and Crucial Conversation by Vital Smarts. She has expertise in negotiation of contracts, sales, and arbitration. She is also certified in Acclivus Negotiation Methods.

Ms. Briggs has been retained for executive coaching for companies that range in size from $10MM to $12BB dollars. For the past several years, all of Ms. Briggs’ new clients have come through past coaching relationships. This is the highest compliment and greatest reward an Executive Coach can experience.

Roni Briggs is a seasoned business executive. Her business insights were honed through 20 years of increasingly higher leadership experience in a vast number of disciplines and industries. Prior to co-founding OSIYO, Briggs was VP Business Capabilities & External Affairs for Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business. She also held leadership positions in communications, professional consulting, and energy industries.

Throughout her career, Ms. Briggs has been an active civic contributor with involvement in a variety of organizations that support the community. Ms. Briggs serves on the Partnership with Native Americans Board a non-profit serving native communities . Named the 2005 “Volunteer of the Year” Native American Business Leadership Awards by UIDA - for outstanding leadership and contributions made to the advancements of American Indian economic and business development. She spoke on the Radio Talk Show - American Calling - as a guest speaker on women in leadership positions. She also was invited to deliver the commencement address for The University of Houston Conrad Hilton School. Ms. Briggs, was the Charter President of the North Dallas Young Men's service League for Moms and Sons and a member of the Pearce High School Booster Club Board. A Cherokee Nation tribal member, Ms. Briggs graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She also holds a certification in Native Business Leadership from Dartmouth Tuck School of Business.
