ACMA 2021 National Conference COVID-19 Policies
last updated: 6/11/21 at 1:48pm CT
What Attendees & Exhibitors Can Expect Onsite
- Masks, as defined by the CDC, must be worn over the mouth and nose at all times, at all events inside and outside for those who have not received a COVID vaccine.
- Disposable masks and gloves will be made available onsite for attendees needing a replacement or additional mask.
- Attendees must pass a daily health screening. Upon passing, attendees receive an “identifier of the day,” which provides access to conference sessions and events.
- For the health and safety of conference attendees, any attendee who does not pass the daily health screening will not be allowed to attend the in-person conference. The attendee’s registration will be transferred to the livestream conference registration. This registration will allow an attendee to watch select sessions live from a mobile device or laptop computer. ACMA staff will assist attendees who must transfer to the livestream registration option.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be placed through the convention center.
- General sessions, breakout rooms and the Exhibit Hall will be socially distanced and have limited capacities.
- Markers/signage will be in place to designate walkway flows and socially distanced line formations.
- Traffic flow will be managed to avoid bottlenecks.
- Handouts will be provided in electronic format through the conference mobile app.
- Meals will be served following COVID guidelines for food distribution.
- Meeting rooms will be disinfected between sessions.
- The conference registration area will be socially distanced.
- Crowd monitors will remind attendees to keep their masks on.
- Reminder signage will state protocols.
- Physical distancing reminders will be provided.
- The Orlando World Marriot Center has increased cleaning and social distancing protocols. View them HERE.
