New to Market Walker Program

Thinking about becoming an exhibitor in the future, want a first-hand understanding of the market's dynamics or interested in sizing up your international competition? If yes, the New to Market Walker Program offers a number of advantages to you as a Canadian company.

The New to Market Walker Program will allow you to:
  • Increase your knowledge of the market;
  • Gain valuable intelligence through contact with trade commissioners that know the market;
  • Enlarge your business network;
  • Increase your understanding of export requirements; and
  • Understand the benefits of exhibiting in the future.
Once you register as a participant in the program you will receive:
  • Access to the pre-show briefing and related market briefing material;
  • Invitation to a “meet and greet” before the Show with trade commissioners, Federal and Provincial government representatives, exhibitors and other walkers;
  • A visitor show badge;
  • Invitation to the official Canada networking event;
  • A Canada Pavilion name badge for access to the pavilion lounge;
  • A copy of the Official Show Guide; and
  • The opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with trade commissioners attending the Show. 
Your acceptance in the program is conditional on:
  • Your company has not participated as an exhibitor in the Canada Pavilion;
  • Your company has not previously participated under the AAFC New to Market Walker Program at this show; and
  • Agree to complete the AAFC New to Market Walker Program survey.

In addition to the above, as a New to Market Walker Program participant you will be responsible for making your own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Note: As a participant in the program you may not:

  • Occupy an exhibitor booth or
  • Display products on-site or solicit business (according to Show Regulations displaying product and/or solicitation by non-exhibiting companies is prohibited).
