Mr. Rick Schirmer has over 30 years experience in the nuclear power industry. He held Senior and Supervisory positions at several U.S. nuclear power plants before accepting a position as Senior Chemistry Evaluator at INPO.

During his 16 years at INPO he performed over 50 INPO/WANO plant evaluations, numerous assistance visits, steam generator review visits, international technical exchange visits, and a radioactive waste technical support mission in Ukraine.

Mr. Schirmer represented INPO on several Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Chemistry Guidelines committees, made presentations at several EPRI Chemistry meetings, Equipment Owners' Group meetings, and other nuclear industry meetings, and coordinated the 1994 INPO/EPRI Chemistry Managers' Workshop. He also performed three reverse loan assignments at Hope Creek Nuclear Plant, Palo Verde Nuclear Station, and Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Station.
