MGFA 2020 National Conference

2020 MGFA National Conference
April 5 - 7, 2020

Due to the recent news regarding COVID-19, the in-person conference has been cancelled.
Stay tuned for more information regarding our virtual conference from April 5 through 7.

The National Conference is the largest gathering of the myasthenia gravis (MG) community in the U.S. The conference is a place for people to connect, learn and share their personal and professional experience with MG. We welcome people with MG, their caregivers and health professionals to attend.

Why attend?
The National Conference offers a wealth of information for everyone in the MG community, whether newly diagnosed or having lived with MG for years. Presentations and breakout sessions cover all aspects of MG, from medical to personal to social. MG experts, MG community leaders, people with MG and family members come together to share their experience. Join us to gain knowledge, share resources and speak with others “who understand!”

Join the National MG Walk!
A great way to connect with others and get energized for the conference is to take part in the National MG Walk on April 4.  This is a great chance for those who may not have a Walk in their own community to join or form a team, or just to connect with friends across the nation! Team Duck Tapers still reigned strong in 2019- raising nearly 12K during the National Walk. However, our Atlanta teams- Team Rockin’ Rodriguez and Team Dream Vacations- gave them a good “walk” for their money, coming in at a close second and third place. With over 300 people taking part in last year’s MG Walk, make sure to join the fun!

Make it a family trip or mini-vacation!
Fun awaits in Fort Worth! Just steps away from our  conference hotel, you can view the beautiful Fort  Worth Water Gardens. Visit the Fort Worth Civic Opera Association, the oldest continuously performing opera company in Texas. Check out the historic Stockyards Hotel, where Bonnie and Clyde hid out in 1933. Fort Worth is also home to the Kimbell Art Museum, with a world-class collection of works by Matisse, Picasso and Cezanne. Or you can kick-up your heels at the “World’s Largest Honky-Tonk”- Billy Bob’s Texas.
