Leslie Michele Leslie is a classically trained musician steeped in music that has grown out of the Black American experience, and has performed as a solo artist all over the world. She has a strong theater background and has dedicated herself to creating performances that help bring about the healing and restoration of the world. Along with singing with The Many, she is a worship leader at Willow Chicago. | |
Gary Rand Gary, the other co-director of Plural Guild, was, until recently, director of music and worship at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago. A veteran worship pastor, workshop leader, and songwriter, he is the music producer for The Many. He is a graduate of Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and holds a DM from Northwestern University. | |
Hannah Rand Hanna, an award-winning singer/songwriter, is a recent graduate of the songwriting program at Belmont University in Nashville. She began writing songs about compassion, justice, inclusion and a world where all belong when she was just 13, and garnered national acclaim in 2013, winning a Grammy Foundation contest with her song “Start Over.” Along with writing for her solo career, she writes most of the music for The Many. | |
Lenora Rand Lenora writes the lyrics for The Many and is co-director of The Plural Guild, the music/arts/liturgy resource group which produces The Many, crafting words and experiences to help people worship in ways that more deeply reflect a peaceful, just and open expression of faith. Having spent over 25 years as a creative director at one of the world’s largest ad agencies, she is now also running SmallGood, a strategy and creative consultancy for businesses and organizations trying to grow more good in the world. | |
