Volunteer-Positive Impacts Start with You
Join us in making positive impacts in the lives of young women. Participate in the excitement of our conferences by being a role model, networking with other women professionals, or leading a workshop. There are lots of ways to become involved.Serve on the conference planning committee
Conference committee members help make important decisions about the content of each EYH conference. They help with tasks including:
- Fundraising
- Recruiting workshop leaders
- Doing outreach to recruit girls and parents
- Assisting with marketing and event PR
- Recruiting conference volunteers
Lead a hands-on workshop
EYH workshop leaders are the "bread and butter" of every EYH. Female STEM professionals are needed to led hand-on workshops for the girls. All workshops feature some type of hands-on activity and workshop leaders discuss their careers with the young women. You can help motivate a young women to pursue a STEM career! If you are interested in becoming a workshop leader, please visit the workshop leader area of the website.
Become a General Volunteer
Volunteers are needed the day of the EYH to assist with many conference tasks. If you have a few hours to give you can assist with the following tasks:
- Helping with conference registration
- Assist with conference set-up and clean-up
- Helping participants locate their workshops
- Assisting workshop leaders
