Course Description:
This course will teach participants how to create esthetic restorations using IPS e.max® CAD restorations produced in a chairside CAD/CAM system. It will include an examination of color theory and its practical application in shading and characterization. Finishing techniques will be covered, as well as proper burs and tools to achieve natural-looking restorations. A demonstration of efficient techniques for posterior restorations as well as information on how to create same-day lab-quality esthetic restorations will enable dentists and staff members to maximize the esthetic potential of the IPS e.max CAD system in a variety of clinical situations.

In modern implant dentistry, the prosthetic plan dictates the surgical application. This course will equip practitioners with simple protocols that will enable competence and confidence in placing dental implants and achieving optimal restorative outcomes. Discussion will include surgical and prosthetic techniques to establish healthy tissue contours for smile design and emergence profiles. Simple and cost-effective socket grafting in preparation for surgical placement of dental implants will also be discussed.
