Frequently Asked Questions about 2020 Conference Final Decision 


Registration Fees for Townships, Affiliates, and Associate Members

If you have already registered for PSATS’ 2020 Annual Conference, your registration fees will automatically be transferred to the 2021 Anniversary Conference April 18-21. If, however, you want to request a refund of your registration fee, please send your request to in the next 30 days.


We will transfer your booth reservations over to the 2021 Conference as well. If you do not plan to attend 2021 or decide to cancel your booth reservation, we will issue a refund upon written request to However, if you cancel and then decide to request space later, you will have to wait for the normal January registration period to open, and space will be on a first come, first served basis for available remaining spaces. Fees/Reservations for Optional Special Events

If you are registered for the 2020 Conference, we are going to automatically refund/cancel the following fees/events that may be different in 2021: guest programs (varying fees), Welcome Reception ($30 per person), Legislative Reception (no fee), Capitol Tours ($10 per person), and Grassroots Lobbying Reception (no fee). More details about signing up for new 2021 events will be provided in the traditional December conference mailing.

Hotel Reservations

PSATS previously canceled your hotel reservations so you would not incur any charges for the previously postponed event. All 2021 participants will need to make new hotel reservations in January of 2021.

Business Session for Designated Voting Delegates

We expect to hold a partial-day business session this fall tentatively at a venue in a green zone to vote on resolutions, bylaws amendments, and Board/officer elections. We are planning a travel-conducive schedule that will enable voting delegates to drive to and from the event in a green zone. More details will be forthcoming.


Most 2020 workshops will be available in a virtual environment beginning soon and over the summer. As always, we will issue a conference workshop RFP and invite all potential presenters to submit proposals for the 2021 Anniversary Conference. Any 2020 conference program ad will automatically carry over to the 2021 conference at the 2020 rate. If you need to cancel your ad or request a refund, email Please note that you may still advertise in the program book even if you may not be attending in 2021.
