Dave McGonegal leads the consulting and advisory services practice at TAPFIN - ManpowerGroup Solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience designing, delivering and managing workforce solutions for Global 2000 companies. Mr. McGonegal is responsible for the development of strategic client solutions in the areas of workforce strategy, talent acquisition, contingent labor and emerging workforce models. During his tenure with TAPFIN – ManpowerGroup Solutions, he has held a range of management and relationship development positions. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Process Excellence for TAPFIN – ManpowerGroup Solutions. Mr. McGonegal holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.

Jim is currently the President of Workforce Transformation LLC (WFT), a strategic advisory consulting firm that helps companies unlock their hidden value – either through optimizing the workforce, eliminating unnecessary operating expenses or both – allowing them to maximize their investment in the core business drivers. Whether a small department restructuring or a global, enterprise-wide reorganization, WFT guides business leaders through business prioritization, workforce differentiation, strategic resource planning, talent supply chain optimization and execution of workforce planning and analytics strategies. Prior to establishing WFT, Jim served as Executive Director of HR Strategy, Planning & Analytics for Celgene Corporation, a global biopharmaceutical company. In that role, Jim built a department that transformed the global mindset and reengineered the process for strategic workforce planning resulting in significant increases in global workforce productivity. He also led the design and construction of the HR Analytics function. Before Celgene, Jim led global talent acquisition and talent management functions for Merck/Schering-Plough, Pfizer, Ernst & Young Consulting and Andersen Consulting. Jim graduated with a Political Science degree from Bucknell University.
