Children are New Patients at Every Visit
Presented by Dr. Gregory Psaltis
Members: $75 Members' Staff: $ 75 Student Members: $37.50 Non-members: $125
Subject Code: 430 - Pediatric Dentistry Credits: 1.5
Course Description:
Children are not small adults. What is unique to the pediatric dental patient is that he/she is growing and changing, making each visit in a dental setting a new patient examination rather than a simple caries check. Growth and development factors must be monitored closely to ensure that potential problems can be diagnosed and treated. The role of radiographs will be emphasized to demonstrate how many developmental entities are asymptomatic and can only be found with an x-ray. Becoming more aware of asymmetries is the clinical clue that will lead to the radiographic diagnosis. Included in this presentation will be anomalies, pathology and some early orthodontic issues.
* Registration closes at 5:00 pm CT on the day of the event
