Molly Barton Global Digital Director Penguin GroupMolly Barton started her career in editorial before moving to digital publishing and business development. She joined Penguin Group in 2004. Today she is Global Digital Director and leads Penguin’s digital business relationships with Amazon, Apple, Google, Kobo and others. She also leads Penguin’s efforts to publish digital-first books, apps, enhanced eBooks and eSpecials (digital essays and short stories).

Feature Films and Warner Bros. Television. In addition, Maria Campbell works selectively as an agent to introduce international writers in the United States. She is a Trustee of Words Without Borders and of the PEN American Center.

Carlo Carrenho Founding Partner PublishNews (Brazil)Carlo Carrenho is a Brazilian publisher and journalist. In 2001, he founded PublishNews, a daily electronic newsletter in Portuguese that covers the Brazilian publishing market. Today, PublishNews has more than 11,000 subscribers. He’s also worked for several Brazilian publishing houses, including Thomas Nelson Brasil, which he launched in 2007. During the last few years, his attention turned to the digital revolution that is taking place in publishing and right now he is the managing director of Singular Digital, the digital arm of Ediouro Holding that focuses on print on demand, e-book distribution and self-publishing. Carlo majored in economics and later specialized in publishing at the Radcliffe Publishing Course in Boston.

Kelly Gallagher VP, Content Acquisition Ingram Content Group
Kelly Gallagher serves as VP of Publishing Services at RR Bowker. In this role he manages the implementation of a host of Bowker business intelligence services, including the PubTrack consumer research panel reaching over 40,000 e and p book consumers.
For the past year, he has been leading a team of researchers on a three-year initiative for the Book Industry Study Group to study consumer attitudes toward e-devices and digital content. This long-term trended study looks at consumer purchases on a quarterly basis as it seeks to understand the rate and shift to digital content. In addition to managing the consumer research panel, he oversees sales data collection and analytics tools for the higher education and religious book markets for Bowker. Beyond his role at Bowker, Kelly also serves as Research Chair for the BISG.
