Dear Colleagues,
It is a great privilege for me to cordially invite you to always charming Paris and the 17th Symposium of the European Association of Research Groups for Spinal Osteosinthesis (ArgoSpine), from January 31st to February 1st, 2013 at the elegant Maison des Arts & Métiers.
We have faced tremendous progress in spine surgery during the last decades, which we, the spine specialists, have to follow very closely for the benefit of our patients. With this scope in mind, the Organizing Committee has developed an interesting programme to keep you updated with newest knowledge about “Biomaterials, Hardware, Investigational Methods, Additional Key-points for Success”, including infection and hardware, bone graft substitutes, stem cells, 3D imaging and navigation, intraoperative monitoring and neuromonitoring. Indeed, the latest in spinal research and technology will be presented, along with the newest concepts and breakthroughs in the field of spine surgery related basic knowledge.
The highly interactive programme will includes ArgoSpine’s traditional controversial round tables, lectures, and symposia presented and moderated by well-known international experts, popular case and oral presentations, as well as posters and industry-sponsored workshops. However, only the most current and best practice, meeting the highest standards of our speciality, will be discussed.
We are confident that every participant attending this Symposium will enjoy it, taking benefit of the high-level presentations by international speakers and interactive discussions.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Paris for the 17th ArgoSpine Symposium.
Assist. Prof. Samo K. Fokter
17th Symposium President
