He has over 30 years’ experience working both in industry and providing professional services relating to Internal Audit and Corporate Governance. He has expertise in successfully aligning internal audit, enterprise risk management and business operations for Fortune 250 as well as small to mid-size companies. He has been recognized for his experience in working with boards and management to improve overall understanding of ERM and enhancing communication with the internal audit function. He has worked with internal audit functions to implement transformational and agile strategies designed to enhance the effectiveness of the function. Alec has been a speaker for MISTI and regional IIA chapters across the United States. He is a CPA, MBA and a member of the IIA. Stefanie D'Elia Global Head of Professional Practices Goldman Sachs Stefanie D’Elia joined Goldman Sachs as Internal Audit’s (IA) Global Head of Professional Practices in April of 2017. She is responsible for managing Quality Assurance Reviews, maintaining IA’s methodology including related guidance notes, confirming IA’s adherence with regulatory expectations, managing regulatory responses and providing Audit Committee reporting support. Prior to joining the firm, Stefanie worked at EY as a senior manager in Process and Controls focusing on internal audit work with financial services institutions. She started her career at EY in the external audit practice and in between worked in internal audit at RBS focusing on trading desk audits. Stefanie holds a BS from Fordham University in Public Accounting and a minor in Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant. | |
Michael Gandara Chief Auditor - Global Technology JPMorgan Chase & Co. Michael Gandara joined JPMorgan Chase as Chief Auditor—Global Technology in July of 2016. He has direct responsibility for the Enterprise Technology business. Mike leads the design, execution and oversight of the global program of technology audit coverage to ensure it meets both risk-based audit objectives, as well as heightened regulatory expectations. Mike has more than 25 years of technology risk, control, public accounting and operations experience at global financial services organizations. Most recently, he was the Chief Controls Officer for Barclaycard Operations and Technology. In this role he had global responsibility for ensuring that Barclaycard's technology platforms, customer service and operational processes are operating within risk appetite and are designed with control in mind from the outset. He was previously the Co-Head of Technology Audit for Barclays with specific responsibility for Business Aligned Technology and Change Auditing. Mike is returning to the firm, having previously spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase as an Information Risk Manager in both Corporate & Investment Bank and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Pace University. Mike is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). He also co-authored the article, “E-Commerce: Audit the Rage” which received the 2003 Thurston Award, given for literary excellence by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), has presented “IT Audit Management Strategies for Optimization” at the IIA Technology Conference, and also presented on IT Risk Management at their Financial Services Conference. | |
Ron Guzman Managing Director - Audit, Global Data Analytics JPMorgan Chase & Co. Ron Guzman is the Global Data Analytics lead for the Audit Department, responsible for the program to integrate analytics that provide valuable insight across all audit activities. He is a member of the Global Technology Audit Leadership team. Ron started with the firm in 2007 and prior to his current role he was responsible for leading a global technology team responsible for auditing technology infrastructure, corporate functions and information security. Before joining the firm Ron held various roles leading and performing various activities related to technology risk and controls at Ernst & Young, Citibank, and his own independent LLC servicing financial service firms. Ron has over 25 years of experience within financial services supporting technology, risk, and audit functions. Ron graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Finance. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). | |
John Laeri Vice President JPMorgan Chase & Co. John has more than six years of hands-on IT Risk and Cybersecurity experience, much of which has been within the financial services industry. With a strong passion for emerging technology, he leverages a proven background in security governance and program management, technical assessments, and regulatory compliance to help drive operational improvements and implement risk-based and financially cognizant solutions. At JPMorgan Chase, John is an audit manager and subject-matter expert for public and private cloud and solutions-as-a-service. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, John worked as a Cybersecurity consultant at Protiviti, a global professional services firm, and implemented solutions for a number of Fortune 500 clients. Before that, he spent two years managing the technology and cybersecurity assessment program for an Internal Audit group. He also spent over three years at EY within the IT Risk & Assurance practice, servicing clients primarily in the Financial Services industry. | |
Osiris Mason JPMorgan Chase & Co. Osiris Mason is a member of the cloud audit team and responsible for executing audit testing controls in the infrastructure and cloud estate. In addition, Osiris is responsible for owning various stakeholder relationships within the Public Cloud Services and Solution-as-a-Service (XaaS) spaces. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Osiris managed an investment portfolio and worked as a junior trader/investment analyst. Before that, at Bloomberg LP, he served as a Bloomberg Excel API product specialist on the Core Equity and Equity Derivative desk. | |
Duy Nguyen Executive Director JPMorgan Chase & Co. Duy has a total of 15+ years of hands on IT, IT Audit, Consulting, and IT Risk experience across the Financial, Technology, and Media industries. At JPMorgan Chase, Duy is responsible for audit coverage of Platform Services, which comprises of key platform related technologies such as Hadoop, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. Duy has performed numerous audits related to internal, external, and hybrid Cloud and is responsible for JPMC’s overall cloud auditing strategy. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Duy managed the IT audit teams at Moody's Investors Service, Arrow Electronics, and NewsCorp. At JPMorgan Chase, Frank is responsible for leading audits of the infrastructure and cloud estate. In addition, Frank is responsible for continuous monitoring of Cloud Foundry.
