We are delighted to open our 2019 educational program with the first workshop offering comprehensive perspective on key topics in the industry directly from the audit practices leaders of the top financial institutions in the world - JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Citi.

The morning session will be dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI) with machine learning (ML), a key driver of automation within audit departments. The session will provide interpretation of the key concepts, discuss drivers, governance and the operational components and characteristics required for teams to establish an AI and ML enabled culture. The session will also provide ideas for using and auditing AI and ML.

Our lunch speaker will discuss Cloud Services and will offer valuable insights into key risks and controls expected around cloud based technology and use of cloud services.

An exciting panel “Trends and Hot Topics in the Audit Practice” with the participation of the Heads of Audit Practice Groups from the top investment banks will discuss their perspective on the key trends in the audit practice, audit methodology and standards, agile auditing, audit reports, validation of audit findings, training programs, skills required in leading audit shops, and many other topics.

The workshop will conclude with a session on “Balancing the Risks of Today with an Eye on the Risks for Tomorrow” where participants will learn how to define the balance between high focus areas against disruptive trends and technology, how to assess organizational readiness and how to manage expectations of the board and audit committee.
