Conveniently located in uptown Charlotte, N.C., the 150,000-square-foot NASCAR Hall of Fame is an interactive, entertainment attraction honoring the history and heritage of NASCAR.

The high-tech venue, designed to educate and entertain race fans and non-fans alike, opened May 11, 2010 and includes artifacts, interactive exhibits, 278-person state-of-the-art theater, Hall of Honor, Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, NASCAR Hall of Fame Gear Shop and NASCAR Media Group-operated broadcast studio.

The state-of-the-art facility will honor NASCAR icons and create an enduring tribute to the drivers, crew members, team owners and others that have impacted the sport in the past, present and future.

Following Tuesday meeting, we will gather in the lobby of the hotel at 6:00 pm for the short walk to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, located about .2 miles from the hotel. Once there, we will have a 30 minute tour of the museum, followed by a reception with time to view some displays and enjoy conversation.   Our dinner will be a down home Southern BBQ. The dress this evening will be casual and comfortable.
