Overview |
Prevent and safeguarding is a pivotal part of any training providers management, delivery and quality arrangements and it is vital that organisations get this right to ensure they remain compliant with statutory requirements, ESFA rules and Ofsted, whilst protecting their learners and staff. This is more than having a policy and reviewing it annually – it should include robust monitoring arrangements, varied CPD and resources and contextualised embedded teaching.
This workshop will provide new training providers with the key information they need to respond to the prevent duty, ensure safeguarding arrangements are robust and effective and share practice on how to embed British values and other key safeguarding and prevent themes into your provision.
As an added extra, the workshop will also provide attendees with the formal Home Office WRAP (workshop to raise awareness of Prevent) training.
