Alex Miles

Alex has worked in the FE Sector for over 14 years and is Managing Director at West Yorkshire Learning Providers.

Alex is responsible for managing a network of training providers and colleges across Yorkshire, supporting members through the skills challenges the sector faces and providing on-going advice and guidance on local, regional and national strategic and policy developments.

Alex also provides the wider sector with consultancy and support services to meet their business needs, particularly in relation to business development, readiness to deliver, Ofsted preparation, audit and compliance support and levy/non-levy health checks. Alex is Home Office approved to deliver WRAP training and is a member of the national working group for Prevent.

Alex is a registered member of the ‘inspiring futures’ and ‘inspiring women’ programme.
