Accompanying Guest Tours
Registration for the Accompanying Tours program is now open, via the main Symposium registration page. Tickets can only be guaranteed for those ordering before July 20, so book your seats now! All tours will begin and end at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Bus drop-offs at the Parc 55 hotel at the end of the tours may also be available. Please arrive at the Hyatt Regency 15 minutes before the listed tour time to board your bus.

Monday 4 August 2014 San Francisco City Tour
Discover the breathtaking city of San Francisco aboard a luxury coach with a knowledgeable tour guide. Tour of Alcatraz
We have been unable to acquire group tickets to visit Alcatraz, as originally planned. Therefore, this afternoon is free for more intensive investigation of any of the sights you saw on the City Tour or feel free to arrange your own visit to Alcatraz by going to www.alcatrazcruises.com . Note that Alcatraz tickets often sell out in advance during the summer, so you will probably need to buy your tickets in advance

Tuesday 5 August 2014 Monterey, Carmel, and the 17-Mile Drive
This all-day tour features a drive south along California's scenic Highway 1, with views of the rugged coastline. Highlights of the tour include Monterey's Cannery Row, Pebble Beach, the Lone Cypress, Seal Rock. Carmel-by-the-sea, Mission Carmel, and Pacific Grove.

This half-day tour begins with a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to the only old-growth coastal redwood forest in the Bay Area, at Muir Woods National Monument. You will have time to stroll beneath these majestic giants, some of which reach 260 feet high and have lived for over 1000 years,before rejoining the tour to see Sausalito, a Mediterranean-like village nestled on the San Francisco Bay, famous for its sweeping views and timeless sophistication.

Saturday 9 August 2014 Yosemite National Park
This all-day tour will take you east from San Francisco across the Bay Bridge through the interior valleys of California, including the Great Central Valley, before climbing the Sierra Nevada mountains to the first national park established in the United States, Yosemite. There, you will see majestic views of granite cliffs, such as Half Dome and El Capitan, as well as 1000-foot high waterfalls, such as Yosemite Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. You will have the option to of hiking, ride a bike, or take tram tour of Yosemite Valley.
