Overview

This one day event is for new observers as well as for observers who wish to refresh their skills. It focuses on the current Common Inspection Framework.

This event will enable you to further develop your skills and knowledge to make effective judgements on learning, give excellent feedback, and write judgement-rich reports.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the event, you will further develop your skills in observing learning by:
  • Reviewing and evaluating a DVD
  • Writing observation notes
  • Developing verbal and written feedback skills
  • Practicing writing key judgements
  • Developing a learner-centre action plan for improvement.
