Q. When is Conference 2019?

• New Leaders Session (by invitation only): Tuesday, Aug 6—9:00 AM –12:00 PM

• Leaders Only: Tuesday, Aug 6—2:00–4:30 PM

• Party in White: Tuesday, Aug 6—7:00-9:00 PM

• General Conference:

• Wednesday, Aug 7 —9:00 AM–5:00 PM (lunch included)

• Thursday, Aug 8 —9:00 AM–4:30 PM (lunch included)

• Gala Reception: 6:30PM (cocktail hour with cash bar)

• Award Gala: 7:30–9:00PM

• After Party:  9:00PM–12:00AM (cash bar)

• Friday, Aug 9—9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Q. How do I register for Conference 2019?

 

 

Q. Do I need to register for Conference even if I plan to earn registration for free through the Career Launch Bonus?

We recommend it to avoid missing the June 30, 2019 registration deadline. You will be given a refund if you register then earn the Career Launch Bonus (providing you attend Conference 2019).

If you earn free Conference in July 2019 but haven't registered before June 30, you will not be able to attend Conference 2019. Please visit epicureconference.com to register.

 

To cancel your Conference registration, please send an email to customerexperience@epicure.com.

Please note the following cancellation policy:

• Registration cancellations up to and including June 1, 2019 will receive a full refund, less a $75 administration fee.

• No refunds will be given for cancellations after June 1, 2019

• Conference fees are non-transferrable (i.e. fees cannot be transferred to another Consultant or to a different event).

• All FREE event registration earners who have registered but do not attend at the time of the event and have not informed Home Office prior to the general registration cut-off date, will be charged a $75 administration fee.

Q. How do I get to the hotel from the Las Vegas airport? 

Travel time is approximately 20-30 minutes.
Bus/shuttle transportation from the airport to/from nearby hotels can be accessed here:

Taxis are available from the airport baggage claim area. Average fare to the Palms is approx. $40.00

UBER and LYFT rides are widely popular and easy to access: download the app and follow the easy instructions. Average fare between the airport and the Palms is approx. $15.00

 

The reserved Epicure room block at the Palms has sold out.

Las Vegas has many accommodation options, including hotels, Airbnb, B&B, private home/condo rentals etc. We encourage you to research availability and connect with other Consultants to share accommodation with. Book early!

Q. Will French interpretation services be provided at Conference 2019

Yes, French interpretation services will be provided for all general sessions. Go to the designated area to pick up your headset; you will be required to provide a credit card which will be securely held until you return your headset at the end of the day.

 

Should one be required, Consultants are responsible for providing their own assistant. We will be happy to provide free Conference admission to assistants. Please note, your assistant cannot be a Consultant. Make sure to provide us with specific details when registering online to help inform us in our planning.

 

When filling in your registration form online, there is the option to list any significant dietary restrictions. Epicure will pass this information to the Palms hotel Catering team. 

 

Q. Are there places to eat near the hotel?

There are many restaurant options within the Palms:

The Palms is an approx. 20 min walk (8 min drive) from the Las Vegas strip.

Q. Will we have time to go explore Las Vegas?

Conference 2019 is filled with fun events and networking opportunities. Out of respect for the family obligations and busy schedules of our Consultants, Epicure tries to pack as much fun and learning into as short a period as possible.

Q. Can I bring a guest?

You may bring a guest to attend the entire Conference or select to bring a guest to just the Awards Gala and After Party, which takes place on Thursday, August 8, 2019. If you would like to bring a guest, please select the checkbox during your registration. The costs for either of these categories are listed on the registration site. Please be aware Conference is an adult-only event (18+).

 

Q. Are there babysitting services available?

As an adult-only event, Conference 2019 does not provide a comfortable atmosphere for infants or small children. Keep in mind that childcare is not available; we therefore ask that you make alternative arrangements for your children.

For the convenience of nursing mothers, Epicure will have a “Parents' room" available during the Conference hours.

Important note: It is strictly your own responsibility to make appropriate childcare arrangements, and cover any costs associated with such arrangements.

 

Q. When and where do I check in:

Before the start of Conference, we ask that you check in with Epicure guest services at the Pearl Theatre in the Palms Casino & Resort:

• New Leaders: Tuesday Aug 6—8:30AM

• Leaders and Above: Tuesday Aug 6—9:30am-12:30PM

• Consultants: Tuesday Aug 6—3:00-7:00PM

• Wednesday Aug 7—6:30-8:30am

 

EARLY BIRD SWAG 

We heard your feedback! To avoid overweight and/or extra luggage fees,  Early Bird SWAG will be uploaded to eligible Consultants’ Achievement Tab after Conference*. Details to follow at Conference. 

*Consultants must attend Conference 2019 to receive SWAG. No exceptions.

 

Q. How should I dress?

NOTE: All Epicure events are fragrance-free events. Participants are asked to avoid perfumes and other fragrances that could affect persons with environmental illnesses or chemical sensitivities. 

 

For all business/general sessions:

Please dress nicely. You may be on camera! We recommend business casual or upscale/trendy attire. Please note that it is often cold in the convention centre. You may want to bring a light sweater or shawl to stay warm. Jeans, shorts, athletic wear, and tank tops are NOT permitted. For men, a collared shirt with a sweater or blazer is great.

For our Awards Gala:

DRESS TO IMPRESS! Attending the Awards Gala is like having a celebratory event with your best girlfriends, so be sure to look stylish. BRIGHT COLOURS look best on camera; avoid busy patterns. Men should wear a blazer and tie, a suit or even a tuxedo. 

 

For this cocktail party, achievers are encouraged to dress in all white. This party will be hosted in one of the hotel’s penthouse rooms with an incredible view of Las Vegas.

 

Q. How do I earn an invitation to New Leaders Session, Leaders-only sessions, Party in White etc…

For an invitation to New Leaders Session, or Leaders and Above sessions, refer to the Career Plan (under Epicure University/Career Launch).

 

You will receive an official invitation to New Leader Session when you promote yourself for the first time as a new Leader. These will be sent in July.

Special invitations to the Party in White will be sent out by mail and email prior to the Conference if all criteria are met.
