About Us
Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association
ONPHA’s annual Conference and Trade Show is the largest of its kind in Canada, connecting more than 1,100 affordable housing staff, policy makers, tenants, community partners, and representatives of municipal and provincial government. It is the premier learning and networking opportunity for Ontario’s non-profit housing providers.
The 2018 ONPHA Conference and Trade Show takes place October 26-28, with our pre-conference event Education Day on October 25, at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto.
This year’s theme is Opportunity Unlocked. We’re moving towards a modernized future for non-profit housing, and it’s the people within the sector who will pave the way for the healthy, vibrant communities of tomorrow. We have the knowledge, we have the tools, we have the drive. Now it’s time to spring into action – to strategize, innovate and take risks.
Attendees can look forward to:
- 60 educational, professional development sessions plus two keynote speakers
- learning from over 120 expert speakers
- networking opportunities with more than 1,100 non-profit housing professionals, government representatives, community partners and service managers
- complimentary admission to the ONPHA Trade Show on October 26, which hosts 80 exhibitors showcasing the supplies and services you need
- the ONPHA Gala, our night of celebration! Share a meal, toast ONPHA award winners and enjoy live entertainment with you peers
Plus, mix and mingle with your peers at our social events, including the Opening Reception and networking events!
About ONPHA
We are committed to the development of a strong and vital non-profit housing sector. Through our research and advocacy, professional development, and member support activities, we offer our members the tools they need to develop and deliver high-quality affordable housing.
Non-profit housing providers make an important difference in the lives of Ontarians. Our 740 member organizations operate more than 163,000 non‐profit housing units in over 220 communities in Ontario. Together, our members house more than 400,000 people. That’s nearly twice the combined populations of Prince Edward Island, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and the Yukon.
