FREE 1-hour Webinar
Educators in Grades 5-12
The NASA BEST Team is providing a free 1-hour webinar.
Join NASA’s Beginning Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) Educators for a free 60-minute educator professional development webinar. Participating middle school educators will learn how NASA is using a series of experiments mounted externally on the International Space Station (ISS) to investigate the effects on materials during long-term exposure to the harsh environment of space. Learn ways to share this research with students in a hands-on activity. Using NASA's BEST Engineering Design Process, participants will test a variety of materials used in other challenges and determine if these materials would be suitable for long-term use in space.
Hosted by NASAs Stennis Space Center (SSC) Office of STEM Engagement
Presented by Marci Rogers, NASA Education Specialist
