Description:  Outreach to Members of Congress and U.S. government agency officials ensures that your voice is heard by those who make policy, funding, and administrative decisions that impact your organization, and who may offer additional assistance and support for your business.  Lobbying activity, however, is strictly governed by law, and at certain levels requires registration with and regular reporting to Congress.  This track will address issues related to lobbying and government representation, including the role a lobbyist or government representative plays in support of the relationship between a constituent company and its elected representatives and government agencies in the U.S.  Discussion will also address issues related to retaining representatives to engage with foreign governments, and will  include discussion about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Description:  Learn about the largest medical device show in China, the China Medical Equipment Fair.  The presentation will cover key show facts, market statistics and why it is important to be in the Chinese medical device market.  ATA Carnet, commonly known as the Merchandise Passport, is an international customs document that permits duty-free and tax-free temporary import of your goods into 71 countries, thereby decreasing the cost of and increasing the return on doing business internationally.  The presentation covers the details on how the ATA Carnet works, where it is accepted and how to obtain one, along with an over view of other forms of temporary importation for trade shows.
