The CT SBIR Office has hosted two SBIR Nationals -- in 2008 and 2010. Our attendance in 2008 was more than 850. In 2010 it increased to 1000+. Check out the tourism pages -- and bring the whole family!
Exhibit Booths The exhibit floor will be open on July 25 - 26 for attendees to network and do business. In the past we have had 50 - 60 exhibitors. The booths range from 8' x 10' to 8' x 20.' Prices vary.
Who Will Attend?
Because we have added Global Trade to the SBIR conference, we expect to see more international companies and government representatives involved in manufacturing and procurement. This is great news for stakeholders that wish to partner with manufacturers and need distribution channels domestically and abroad. SBIR companies are innovators who come from all over the US to learn what the government needs for the next several years, what large businesses are looking for downstream, and to be inspired by the presentations over the course of the program. Smaller manufacturers come to partner with small businesses. Like larger companies, they are seeking innovation to improve their competitive edge. They will want to export as well.
