For the second time, AAPG Europe would like to congratulate outstanding individuals who are devoted and passionate about Energy, Geology and sharing knowledge with others.

We are very pleased to announce the awards nomination is open now and will close on November 30th, 2018. The awards will be handled during the AAPG APPEX Global event, 5-7 March 2019, in London. 

Nominations are sought for four awards. Please review the criteria for each award and note that these awards are open to both AAPG members and non-members. Recipients must be living at the time of selection and willing to be present to accept the award at the AAPG APPEX Global event.
 

Nominations: You need to be an AAPG member affiliated (normally this is based) in the Europe Region. Please complete the Nomination Form online by November 30th, 2018.

Candidates: Candidates to the awards, might be a member or non-member of AAPG throughout the World, not necessarily living or based in Europe. To be considered, the contribution to the geoscience society needs to affect / have taken place within the Europe Region. 

ERHAC: Europe Region Honours and Awards committee is formed by the Ambassadors and the Europe Regional Council. The ERHAC will review and consider the submitted nominations. 

Ambassadors are elegible to be nominated and win an award.

Europe Region Council members will be judging the nominations and are hence not entitled to receive an award and any nomination will be automatically be dismissed. 

Final Resolution: The ERHAC (Europe Region Honours and Awards Committee) will review all the nominations and communicate the results of the deliberation on December 17th.
