Class Description:

This advanced Lighting Controls 3-day course is designed for those who wish to start-up, commission and troubleshoot Hubbell Control Solutions’(HCS) lighting control systems. This seminar is an intensive training focused on developing a strong understanding of the following HCS controls systems, providing participants the ability to become Certified Field Technicians for HCS. 

·         CX Commercial Lighting Control Panels

·         NX™ Distributed Intelligence building, room and fixture-level controls

·         SiteSync™ wireless outdoor lighting controls

·         WiSCAPE™ wireless outdoor

 

This course will discuss: system hardware and software products, associated peripheral devices, and field start-up tools and processes, technology overview, system start-up and troubleshooting. Attendees will receive extensive on hands training on NX, SiteSync and wiSCAPE GUI software and best practices for field commissioning. 

Acceptance into this seminar is provided on a first-come first-served basis and is contingent on approval from The Lighting Solutions Center. Basic understanding of lighting controls is required. In addition, each attended should meet the following prerequisites:

·         A laptop with a minimum of two USB ports with latest version of Google® Chrome™

·         Knowledge of how to change laptop network adaptor settings

·         Knowledge of how to ping a network device address from the Windows® Command Prompt Window

·         Understanding of how to configure laptop Wi-Fi settings

·         Knowledge how to setup, configure and use a wireless router.
