Starting in the historic
Johnstone Park, the walk will take you to the new raingarden and restored heritage features, before moving along Malop Street to the Green Spine, designed to ultimately link two of Geelong's premier open spaces: Johnstone Park and Eastern Park.  Phase 1 of the Green Spine Project has transformed the City's retail core, with the planting of hundreds of trees and landscaping around alfresco dining and seating nodes, and separated bike lanes.
