BIRDING TOUR - Kasane – Caprivi – Okavango panhandle, November 2018
This diverse trip
takes in a morning visit to Makgadigadi pans, birding along the banks of the
Chobe river, visiting the mighty Zambezi River above Victoria Falls, then
travelling the length of the Caprivi strip, birding Mahango Game Reserve on the
banks of the Okavango River, finally birding the panhandle of the Okavango
Swamps near Shakawe.
Target
species include:
Yellow-throated
Sandgrouse, Double-banded Courser, Kori Bustard, Rock Pratincole, African
Skimmer, Slaty Egret, Wattled Crane, White-backed Night-Heron, Pel’s
Fishing-Owl, Wattled Crane, Dickinson’s Kestrel.
Cost per person from R29,500 per person
sharing. Space on each trip limited to a maximum of 6 guests.
