BIRDING TOUR - Northern Cape, November 2018
We visit the arid Northern Cape,
searching for some very special Southern African endemic species around
Poffader, Springbok and Port Nolloth.
Target species include:
Pygmy Falcon, Swallow-tailed Bee-eater,
Rosy-faced Lovebird (NE), Namaqua Warbler (E), Pale Chanting Goshawk (NE),
Jackal Buzzard (E), Black-headed Canary (E), White-throated Canary (NE), Karoo
Korhaan (E), Barlow’s Lark (E), Cape Long-billed Lark (E), Karoo Lark (E),
Karoo Long-billed Lark (E), Red Lark (E), White-backed Mousebird (E),
Black-eared Sparrowlark (E), Cinnamon-breasted Warbler (E), Orange River
White-eye (E), Pririt Batis (NE), Ludwig’s Bustard (NE), Stark’s Lark (NE),
Sclater’s Lark (E)
E = Endemic
NE = Near endemic
Cost per person from R13,500 per person sharing. Space on each trip limited to a maximum of 6
